There's nothing like being able to make your own kebabed chops at home.
I made mine under the grill and it went down a treat.
Grilled lamb chops sprinkled with spring onions and pomegranate. Beautiful served with Persian Lavash bread.
1.2kg or 15 pieces lamb chops
1/1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
For the garnish
1 tbsp chopped spring onions
1 tbsp pomegranate pips
Place the lamb chops in a large bowl
Add the ground black pepper
Chop the onions and add to the lamb chops
Chop the tomatoes and add to the lamb chops
Mix all the ingredients into the lamb chops
Cover the bowl of lamb chops with either a plate or cling film and allow to marinade for at least 1 hour
Place your lamb on a rack, make sure you remove any onions or tomatoes from it so they don't burn
Sprinkle with the top side with salt
Place the chops under a hot grill and allow to cook for 5 minutes on one side
Flip over and sprinkle with salt
Place the chops back under the grill and allow to cook for another 5 minutes on the other side
Test one of the lamb chops to ensure it is cooked to your liking
Note: If you'd like your lamb chops well done then allow extra time under the grill
