Honey & Cinnamon Glazed Chicken

This is an extremely quick and easy roast to make. I'm all for adding ingredients in one pot and just letting the magic happen. This roast does exactly that, the spices are simple and likely to be in most kitchens. The preparation took no more than 10 minutes.
I ate this with Lavash bread but plain white or saffron rice goes just as well. It's one of those dishes that is a crowd-pleaser and allows you to spend time with your family and friends rather than in the kitchen!
8 pieces chicken thighs
2 cloves garlic (crushed)
1 whole garlic
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp oil
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
3 tbsp clear honey
Note: Oven 200°C or Gas Mark 4 for 45 minutes + additional 10 minutes.
Pre-heat the oven to 150°C
Place the chicken thighs in a roasting tin
Add the dry ingredients and run all over the chicken
Rub the crushed garlic all over the chicken
Add the honey and rub into the chicken
Break the whole garlic and wash with the skin still on
Place the pieces of garlic between the chicken pieces
Cover the roasting tin with foil and set the chicken aside for 30 minutes
After 30 minutes place the chicken in the pre-heated oven
Increase the oven temperature to 200°C or Gas Mark 4 for 45 minutes
Remove the chicken from the oven
Carefully remove the foil covering the chicken
Place the chicken back in the oven for 10/12 minutes at 200°C or Gas Mark 4. Take care not to leave the chicken for too long as the honey will start to burn and give a bitter taste.
