Persian Smoothie - Majoon

I remember having this extremely healthily and nourishing smoothie in Tehran with my Uncle. This smoothie is so filling that if you do have it and are able to actually finish it, you certainly won't have room for anything else for a couple of hours.
Filled with nuts, milk and banana, nowadays an additional ingredient is added, the traditional Persian ice cream, Bastani-e-Sunnati which adds a more richer flavour to the smoothie.
I've gone for the traditional, more healthier version that I'd tasted back then and omitted the ice cream.
2 bananas (medium size)
1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/3 cup ground pistachios
1/3 cup ground almonds
1/3 cup ground walnuts
1 1/2 tbsp ground rose petals
1/4 tsp cinnamon
saffron (generous pinch)
2 tbsp honey
1/2 cup milk
For the garnish
1 tsp ground pistachios
1tsp ground rose petals
Slice the bananas and add to a blender
Add the ground pistachios
Add the ground almonds and walnuts
Add the cinnamon and ground saffron
Add the honey
Add 1/4 cup of the milk
Blend for 30 seconds
Add the rest of the milk and blend for another 30 seconds.
Note: If you don't like a thick smoothie then you can add an additional 1/2 cup of milk to thin this smoothie down.
Pour the Majoon into a glass and garnish with pistachios and rose petals.
This smoothie can be eaten with a spoon if thick or with a straw if thinned down.
